As a team member Pembrokeshire Beyond will train you to effectively conduct paranormal investigations in a controlled manner, you will be expected to attend all training sessions and meetings (usually one monthly) and attend at least 1 investigation every 2 months.

You will be assigned evidence to review after each investigation, and will have to submit a report on the analysis of that evidence with all findings to the lead investigator of that event.
If you are a member of Pembrokeshire Beyond you CANNOT be a member of any other paranormal group - however this does not prevent you attending their events as a paid guest!
You will be expected to have a sense of humour, bright outlook and a love for all things paranormal.

Our Probationary experience is quite simple really.
Step 1 - Submit your interest using the form on this page
Step 2 - Interview with 2 Team members
After completion of these 2 steps, if succesful, you will be granted probationary team member status.
Step 3 - Initial training session on a private event
Step 4 - completion of probationary period, usually 3 investigations, though there may be more, to see how you blend with the team and react to different situations.
Step 5 - upon succesful completion of the investigations your probationary period will be reviewed by all of the current team members who you have worked with, and you will be subject to a vote to see if you pass the probation.
All members are expected to equip themselves with a basic level of equipment, however you can get more; the minimum requirements are listed below:
Pembrokeshire Beyond has a subcription of £5 per month for every team member, and this is for equipment, insurances and locations. Once you are a probationary team member you will be required to pay this membership fee.
Torch
Camera, either digital or 35mm or video with 'nightshot'
Voice recording device, either tape or digital
Notepad and pen
Thermometer.
Pembrokeshire Beyond expects that all probationary team members have this equipment as standard, and can advise on specifications if required. This equipment can cost anywhere from £20.00 up.
